Forum: GratefulDead Subject: Re: Question: Why is 73-06-10 RFK Stadium show most d/l's?

I was at the 6-9 show. 14 continuous hours of music capped off with the Dead & Allmans on stage together. After the the show they announced free tickets for the 6-10 show for all who picked up a bag of trash. All day & night in temperatures well over 100 degrees, 100,000 people. I was a crispy critter. Picked up the trash, got the ticket, then drove home and then crashed for 2 days.

Maybe not the greatest show the Dead ever performed, maybe not the greatest show I ever attended, but an experience that counts as a highlight of life that I still discuss to this day with the friends that gathered together that day.

I was searching for this show when I stumbled across the Archive. It was my first download and not because it was the most popular. Yea, it is that good.
